    Hey guys..

Not sure how your your fog lights are wired up, but mine pretty much are on all the time. They are wired to come on very dim when i turn my normal head lights on and when i switch on the fog lights they become much brighter.

Anyways last night i turned my head lights on and only one of the fog lights light up. I then went into the cabin to turn them on so they would go to full brightness to see if it was just a globe that was busted and found that both were working. (Globe ok)

I am looking to tackle this on the weekend.. Any one have any ideas as to what i should be looking for?

Yes. Your Fog lights are two seperate items(there are Parking Lights within the same casing as the Fog lights)and they operate independently of each other.
The Parking light globes come on when you turn your Head Light switch to the first position(they are small "peanut" globes).
The Fog Lights are switched on by the press on/press off pad on the right hand pod(and in all the Z32's I have seen)the Parking Lights also come on with them.
You obviously have a blown "peanut" Parking Light globe.:zlove:

Beautiful.. I was unaware that there were two globes in there... You have made my day.. I was thinking that i would need to pull everything apart and check the wires with a test light.

    Thanks mate

the peanut globe chili speaks of are from the globe types i have in my zed and also amandas, are "wedge" type globes. fairly cheap, you can even get them with LED lights, just for something different.

the high beam globes can either be H1 globes from memory and or bayonet globes. i have one of each =(

anyways just some more info for you.

They are wedge type globes situated inside the Fog Light casing. They have nothing whatever to do with the Headlight units.
The wiring inside the Foglights of my car has been modified to accept H3c Low Beam Headlight globes(55W).
