Last week i finally decided to fix my broken and leaking BOV, and also began the habit of starting the zed (Auto TT) 5-7 minutes before i leave the house, to let it warm up properly.

After 1 week, i can definitely say that somehow, those 2 things have given me roughly 110 extra km's per tank.

Previously i could expect about 460km's on average from a full tank, till it reached the "E" line (so it's not really empty). Now, i'm looking at roughly 560km's, and if anything i've been driving it slightly harder than i was before.

How can fixing a minor problem like that make such a huge difference! :bash:

    Hello........

Broken and leaking BOV = vacuum/boost leak = lousy fuel consumption

man i would be dreaming to get anywhere near that for a full tank, im lucky to hit 220

i have a feeling i might need a good overhaul

This is exactly what I was thinking too (well, almost exactly. My thought had an even smaller number in it).

    you got that right.

my old TT used to piss through fuel

In comparison the NA 350Z.....well...I've owned it nearly 3 weeks now. I filled her up for the 2nd time....last night

Couldn't remember where the friggin fuel release cap was haha

Yea but at 450km's (this is from full to "E", NOT a full tank) for an auto TT it was doing pretty decent fuel consumption to begin with.
