I reckon it fits.... I could never really see the connection between the S30's and the Z33, but I can see the step from Z32 to Z33.
Nah chrome shifter and V8? Just lost me... When I get sick of the Z32 I reckon I'll grab one of these and do an Rb26/AWD conversion. Check this out, exhaust from the car you linked to http://www.bestmufflers.com/Information/Custom Systems/custom_exhaust_system_datsun_240z.htm I've seen it in the flesh a few times in the city, pretty ****ing cool, but V8 in a 240z? no thanks!
It gets a bit crazy when you start comparing eras too, because the S30 is really just a Jag E-type clone for the most part. The 80s were, well the 80s, and the 90s a natural progression from there to modernise and round it all off... I do like the 370Z overall shape though and its much improved, im just not much of a fan of the cut outs in the front/rear lights.
Yeah fair enough, although I love the cutouts but I think that's cause I'm a jag man at heart.... ha. I do like the tough j-pec look with G-nose and headlight covers
Here is a few pics of the newcastle zeds guys which shows the difference between mainly the 260Z's... 2 seat coupe (blue, foreground) and the white 2+2. NB differences in the rear 1/4 window and overall length of the rear. The 260 coupe is apparently quite rare, can anyone confirm? Few interesting examples in those pics too... Bigbax 3rd from the end, and a genuine red stillen 25th anniversary model z32
Thanks for the link Rob. I have linked the following before, but they are 2 of my favorite cars. This is what got my interest in 240Z V8's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSJVi1mPjZQ And if you want all wheel drive why not have a V8 also. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQjXsvEhLyQ&feature=related An automatic though, at least you wouldn't have to have a chrome ball shifter, would be an excellent candidate for a SAW.
Coming from that yard, the smell is more likely to be rotten fish. Probably the worst reputation for dud deals of any car yard in Australia(there have been a number of severely burnt Zed owners emanating from that neck of the woods).:banned:
NOW I find this out!!! Guess where RZ2 came from years ago! The first Aussie owner bought RZ2 from Edward Lees in 1997; at some point after that it was bought by a Canberra member, who sold it to another Canberra member, who sold it to me. However, I don't really think the cracked block or head in 2007 can be put down to Mr Lee or the Japanese owner!
Bargain car with a known cracked block, buy for $3,000 sell it for $10,000 with some freshly added "Wynns crack blocked stop" lol
