Just about to put the motor back in and I have 2 left over brackets (see picture)
Just wondering if some one can let me know what they do or where they go, if not I'll just go zip tie crazy to keep every thing tidy :)

The one on the top is likely something on the side of the plenum that hold the O2/AIV/PRVR connectors of the EFI loom in place. Not mission critical.

Don't recognise the bottom one but it looks equally un-needed.

    Leave them both out IMO.

Most of the little bits in the engine bay is just excess weight and overly complex for no reason.

I have a bare plenum, no factory hard lines left and all the little fiddly brackets are in the bin.

A lot easier to service and more intuitive when you can trace where everything goes without all the bends and brackets.

Would love to see a pic of your engine?
Also you seem like you know a fair bit, do you kno much about the auto gearbox harness? Mine goes right past my dump/turbo and Im unsure if it's safe to have it so close?

Not sure about the top one (got another angle?), but the bottom one goes in the valley right at the back and helps hold down a coolant pipe and a section of your starter harness.
