Kind of interested but I know little on this subject. Why is this better than simply swapping to a an NA subframe? Don't say to keep HICAS

Also to avoid changing out the subframe to suit the lighter duty R200 NA diff.

...are one of the best mods you can perform to your TT. :zlove:
The car feels significantly lighter.
The acceleration is dramatically improved.
No need to drop it into 4th to overtake on highway.
Downside, you lose a bit of top end speed & use a bit more fuel.
How often have you had your TT pulling 7000rpm in 4th or 5th gear?

 

I found it to be a real PITA the other day when I was bouncing off the rev limiter at 8500RPM in fifth on my way to get some milk from the dairy :rofl:

Biggest advantage is getting the NA ratio but not the NA halfshafts that can and do break if you want to use slicks at the drags, not likely to cause an issue for most other uses though, even the drifting boys don't seem to have many issues with the smaller half shafts.

I've put them in my z recently & will vouch for it being an excellent mod

Seriously, if you've bought these gears, you'll be giggling.

Another advantage to opting for these gears is, you don't have to change or modify your TT tail shaft to match the NA diff.
