For this run .... - Still running stock exhaust up to just after the cats and removed the resonators and mufflers - stock intercooler - running max boost of 21psi (didn't ping either and had more fuel to burn)379HP (rear wheels) @ 6446 rpm 21psi 354HP (rear wheels) @ 5252 rpmNo idea if it's DIN or SAE but happy so far with a few more horses to chase out of the paddock yet :YD[image]http://members.optusnet.com.au/rowatt/aus300zx/379hp.jpg[/image][image]http://members.optusnet.com.au/rowatt/aus300zx/scrag.jpg[/image]
Looking good mate... Pity it doesnt show RPM though. Hows the car feeling to drive? Getting all the probs sorted? Whens boost coming on do you think?
That has to be "real" HP Shane:YD>> 282.6 rwKw is good, but I'm guessing you will have another 30+ hidden in there somewhere. Hey, I was serious about that ES Diff Bush, it doesn't look anything like the ones on my car, where is it fitted:?) Cheers mate Lloyd :-Z >D< })
Hey Nathan, according to my>> scientific conversion program, 514hp=383.28kw.Great numbers:YD Cheers Lloyd :-Z
either side of the diff on the top part They stop the diff from rotating in the same direction as the engine and would have contributed to why I was getting wheel hop again. There are two other diff bushings that you can see from the rear of the car behind the HICAS cylinder and one of those is starting to pop out as well.Time for some billet alloy one me thinks
I think boost comes on around anywhere between 2700rpm to 3000rpm.To convert speed into rpm on the dyno graph multiply the speed by 47.7It drives ok but has a bit of a dead spot just off throttle which I haven't been bothered to track down yet. In the dry it feels like a nice handling and faily powerful car. Though may years ahead of me yet till it's finished. It was fun to make the short journey home from the dyno place with no exhaust since I busted an exhaust stud getting the bugger off.
Is that part of the two front bushes> (top hat shaped, with metal tube insert)on the "neck" of the diff housing:?) (bolts to the small cross-member).Cheers Lloyd :-Z
I pity any poor unsuspecting driver who decided to give you a run on the highway !!!You obviously have worked long and hard to make those sort of numbers Shane and the look on your face as the dyno told the tale shows its been worth it. :YDJudging by the way everyone huddled around the dyno trying to get a first glimpse of the numbers, you have a lot of fans behind you. Keep up the work, it's a pleasure to watch someone as devoted as you})
