WA kthnxbye's tech day

Well it is over... kinda... everythings fixed... kinda

Problems were found and fixed, something.. seems to have fried the ecu and one of the injectors was signals was rooted..

Wasn't a half bad weekend bar the stupid muggy heat.


Back back back way when for those who have been around a while would remember that every zed event would always end in a video... well in WA it was anyway....

But I had my DSLR there so I thought its about time we got back into some videos so we can put a voice to the face to the name. So here is a very quick little snap of the weekend.

Massive huge thanks to Chris for working his magic and diagnosing my biggest problem. So relieved to finally know what is wrong.

did you pick up on something that I did when going through the footage?

yeah i did get "featured" in fact, no-one else really gets any airtime lol.....

so did you swap in a new ecu to diagnose the missing injector pulse? and did it work on the new ecu if you did?

 

NA ecu so struggled but was stuggling on all 6... yeah should be all good...

we suspect the batt was still connected when the injector wires were cut.. both at the same time could have shorted it and fried the blitz ecu

It sure was haha you're famous! Actually you came up twice over the course of the day, at one point Ross wanted me to call you so he could speak to you

 

Chris just stopped by and put in another ecu in. If my car has ever run this smoothly, I don't remember it as it's been so long so stoked right now!
