Kick Panel

Hey there team.

I was talking today to someone about an alarm install and the factor of a kick panel came up the thing that runs the central locking for the passenger side. and i was wandering if anyone has any idea what this is and where it is located.

the guy said the thing that they need to plug the alarm system into may have cracks in it and that generally 300's get cracks in that panel that need to be fixed when they get alarms installed.

 

he said it is near your feet or something? does that help

 

Could he be talking about where the fuses are? Still don't get why cracks would stop an alarm working?

 

does that get cracks? he just said it will require a repair if it has cracks this was all over the phone.

I want to install a car alarm system.

Precautions since when i was at a mate someone tried to break in already.
