Just hit a kangaroo in my NA, looked like just cosmetic damage at first.
Had a closer look and the rad support was pushed in. Now thinking it's a write off as everything in front of it is smashed.

Just bought about $2500 of parts for it too :(

Who wants some LMGT4s, kaminari skirts and a TwinZ rear bar?

replacing the rad support panel isnt a super difficult job. AS LONG AS THE CHASSIS RAILS HAVENT BEEN PULLED INWARD BY THE RAD PANEL.

    That's bad luck.

Anything can be repaired, just a question on the cost.

I assume you are OK as you are posting. What about the kangaroo ?

That was a bit hasty of me, we'll see what NRMA want to do.

I'm fine, haven't seen much off the roo except for some blood.

Car is a 90 man NA slicktop. If I part it out I'll put up a full thread if not then I'll let everyone know.

Hit it at about 90km/h or so just on dusk...

Ah fark Joel, terrible news mate! Don't do anything rash selling anything yet, get it assessed & worst case its gone then chase up another & chuck your tasty bits across.

    cheers, Tim

    Sorry to hear it....

Usually there are plenty of cheap chassis around with blown engines or other issues that you could use for a good doner and swap all your parts over too. Not a bad option if your building a new engine for it also?

If it was insured then the payout should finance the whole project. get back in a better and faster zed :)

best of luck and let us know how it goes!

Car has been towed, just need to wait for the assessment now. The tow driver thinks it's repairable so we'll see what happens.

I'll compile a quick list over the weekend so if I do end up stripping it I'll be ready.

Cheers for the kind words guys

my rad support got pushed in and i got it pulled back out, not as good as it came out of the factory but a bloody good job nonetheless.
