Just one hose left! But where does it go??

    Hi Guys,

    Just a quick question.

I have recently completed the following:

    - FMIC install
    - PWR radiator with thermofan install
    - PVR, AIV and CC deletes
    - new frontbar install
    - EBoost install
    - new silicon hoses all round

I finally finished everything yesterday and started the car... and it worked!

Just one thing left now... 1 pesky hose that I am not sure about...

    Looking at the following photo:

I am unsure where hose (3) goes. I am pretty sure it is part of the CC lines, but I just can't remember where it goes to? Do I simply cap it, or is it actually supposed to go somewhere?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Dan.

that is your carbon cannister vac line. it goes from the carbon cannister to that metal tube, under the plenum, up and into the balance pipe.

    Thanks Chad.

So if I have removed the CC, I can simply cap this line correct?

    Cheers,

    Dan.

Well I capped it last night.

Car seems to run fine with it like this.

    Cheers guys,

    Dan.

    No worries,

As usual, you're a helpful guy anyway Chad.

Now go bypass your CC... It takes up space and is a pain in the ass.

Less vacuum lines in the engine bay = goodness

I just used the guide from Robo's site:

    http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/6901.html

Nice and easy guide as long as you do all the hoses one at a time.

I only got lost as I was working on my car on and off on the weekends and lost track of that one hose after I disconnected them all...
