just bought a new steering wheel

    off ebay and the guy says if my original boss kit has 6 bolts then it will fit.can anyone tell me how many bolts a standard 1992 tt boss kit has??
    hopefully 6 then i wont have to buy a new boss kit.

    Factory wheel doesn't use a boss kit arrangement. sorry

    The factory steering wheel bolts straight up to the
    shaft without using a boss kit style arrangement so you'll have to buy an aftermarket kit which acts as an adapter between the wheel and the shaft.

    If you have an aftermarked wheel already then there's a reasonably good chance your boss kit will suffice but there really is no way to tell unless you know the brand or remove the old wheel and have a look!

    UAS at UAS sell boss kits for the Z and many autobars also stock HKB boss kits which will do as long as you get one with hicas support.

    An inbuilt boss (it is part of the wheel), so you will have to buy a boss to suit the wheel you have now bought.
