The springs are about twice as hard to squash with your hands, don't seem to be variable rate but are all marked in red on 1 end which points towards the lifters. They are also a hell of a lot thicker than the standard valve springs. As for the retainers, they are much nicer looking because they are silver and besides that, they are almost half the weight of the stock ones. Even holding 1 - 1 stock vs titanium retainer, you can feel the difference!! Will post up pics soon of all the gear
