WA JDMWA presents...WA Fitment Meet - "So You Think You Can Stance?" 26/2/12

Hey just wondering if i can expect to see any zeds attending?, details are below

3:00pm until 6:00pm

JDMWA will be holding WA Fitment Meet on the 26th of February 2012, starting at 3pm and finishing up around 6pm as the sun starts to go down.

We have had some amazingly well stanced and fitted cars at our last few events, and we wanted to host something that will cater to this style which is becoming more and more popular across the world. If you are unfamiliar with the terms 'fitment' or 'stance' then check out this short vid of what goes on over east thanks to JDMST and DOWNSHIFT - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYJhgEzUR-4 . Alternatively at the more extreme level there is stanceworks, stancenation, juststance, stancewars etc. Basic keywords for our event - low, poke, tuck, camber, stretch, fitted - however of course you follow all this at your own risk, but there will be no speedbumps or ramps to attack you don't worry =]

Usual rules apply, but since this is a meet we will tell you to leave if there is any of the following - skids, revving of your car during the meet, popping antilag, hooning etc, you get the point - don't ruin the fun for other attendees and cause unwanted attention to the event.

All those awesome photographers we had at our events last year that submitted photos, we of course would like to invite you back to cover our event once again, plus our talented official photographer Gavin Host [https://www.facebook.com/GavinHostPhotography?ref=ts] will be covering the event, aswell as our new videographer Jackson Moore. JDMWA stickers will be available on the day, and a few different vendors will have shops/stalls setup during the day.

These meetups are designed to allow JDM car enthusiasts a spot to meet some new people with the same interest, get some photos taken of your cars, and keep the WA Japanese car scene alive.

#Specifically no NON-Japanese branded cars at our events unless personally invited by one of our admins. We are Euro-friendly, however only by invite.

Hopefully the drive there will be entertaining, but mostly just keen to see fitted/slammed cars.. If your not into that scene i could see how it wouldnt make any sense

 

i went to the first one it was amazing, theres alotta cars there from vtec spoon civics to bridgeport rx7's, and its cool to see the jdm scene in w.a and support it, plus i loves me some stance so this one should be quite interesting

 

i agree, the point to this besides hanging out in carpark being targets for cops??

 

where else are you going to see 400+ other jdm cars for free?

That sounds awesome, just be careful since the Macca's across from the JB Hi-Fi carpark is a bit of a hotspot for Police... It would be tragic if Police saw it as an opportunity to hand out canaries on the day.
I was living down in Winthrop only last week.

 

dont forget the utopia bubbletea near the subaru dealership, thats brutal for cops

 

Haha thay only started hanging out there when thay found out ir was a small hotspot for some of the guys from Jdmwa chilled there then the cops went there took there parking place and started hounding on the guys but that can't stop enthusiast can it lol .... Dam police

 

yeah i havnt made it to a jdm wa meet yet, something always comes up -.-

but from what iv heard the cops do make an appearance (theres even images of them even driving through the event on the fb page), but its nothing as bad as the rising sunday, that was so pathetic by the police... musnt be any real crime in perth if they have the time to target us

i would usually attend seeing as im an admin for the club and all but i might still be in margaret river.

but god dam it why have all the events this weekend, the tyres are shagged on the EVO and they tell me the new ones don?t arrive till Monday
