    Hey all

Im in the market to upgrade my suspension - given that Im driving around on worn shocks and cut springs (thanks to the previous owner) I want to make steps to fix it.

So far Tein SS, K-Sports have been looked at - but was wondering if anyone had any experience with:

    ISC N1's.

SS are about 1600, K-sports are about $1560 delivered.

    Anyone have these N1's Fitted?

At those price difference's the Super Streets are well ahead in the performance and quality run. The K-Sport are the same as D-2's and G4's, same manufacturer, and should be able to pick up a set for around $1200. Be aware that the difference between damper rates 1 and 32 are neglible at best.

Sorry havn't had any experience with ISC

For cheap coilovers my sugestion is HSD's technically superior to the Tein SS's and cheaper. Can't comment on actual quality, but on paper they are better...

Racing logic's are pretty good too, very nicely made with good adjustment, different spring rates are easy to get too.

But saying all that, I have SS's :p

I reckon i'll get HSDs - the HR model, RRP $1599. Stands up well to the abuse in Darren Appletons drift car, and the spring rates arent too bad either. F-8kg/R-6kg spring rates which i hope wont be too stiff!

    Check them out andy!

Thanks Marty - Hadnt even heard of HSD's.

Agree that they look better on paper tho - I just want something that is a bit more adjustable than Super Streets but still gives a decent ride.

Given that im on old shocks and chopped springs, a bed of nails would give a better ride at the moment.

    Grr.

You should look into the SPL and Powertrix Coilovers. Technically superior, excellent value and great quality.

I would'nt touch the K-sports and the Tein SS ride height isn't even independent.
