Every 4 weeks or so my Z completely drains the battery. I have taken it to an auto electrican and have been told there is nothing wrong with it. This problem is killing me cause it always happens at the worst time!
Common things I have been suggested to look at are:
    1. boot light > not connected
    2. internal lights on/ door open lights > not these
    3. grounding wire somewhere > checked with a multimeter after fully charging the car and looks like there is 0 drain.

Has anyone else had this sort of regularlly occuring problem? Its making me crazy :(

You need to disconnect the positive wire from the battery

turn all the accesories off. Then put the multimeter in series with the positive terminal on amps/milliamps range, and see how much current is being pulled when the everything is switched off.

Come back and tell me what it measures after you have done this.

    just a quick question....

do you have manual or electric seats??

Don't know if you have power seat (b/c you have an NA)

but check that the seat control stalks are not loose/stuck. Easy to do when exiting the car. I had a similar prob with the one that raises the rear of the seat so not immediately obvious except for the flat battery next morn...

As Tektrader suggests, find out the current draw. The other method is to disconnect fuses one by one and see if that stops the drain (measured on multimeter). Isolates the circuit...
