BIIIG Thanks to Pete (Wykked) for his post in the Tech Section... or him being the Tech source (Not sure which).

The thread title is Fixing a failed power window

My symptoms were... the window would wind down and up and then one day it wouldn't until I'd been driving a while, then it would... working... not working... working... not working and then finally didn't work again. (stuck in the up position lol!)

So I looked in the tech section and found the post on how to fix it but the pictures are long gone!

Turns out the pictures describe the little switch coils on the PCB and if you look with a magnifying glass the coils are wound from a single hair thin strand of wire.

That's the wire you re-solder as described.

You will need a hack saw (to carefully dis-assemble the plastic control box)
A Hot Glue gun (for when you put it back together)
...and of course a soldering Iron with a fine tip.

Just a hint... the side with the metal attachment on it will expose the top view of the PCB. (Printed Circuit Board)

All fixed and working fine... so thanks again! :zlove: :br:
