Im looking eventually to start getting my interior trimmed, and dash made neater, basically just to make the interior look better. The problem is I am new to this and dont have a great imagination, so what i am looking for is some pictures of interiors just to get an idea of what can be done. So if you could post some pics 4 me that would be fantastic. Cheers Mat
have a search through the garages mate....they should be a few shots of interiors in there....good luck with it
Ed300ZX did you just paint your centre console yourself... if so great job mate looks really effective...
Search for maxfromaus on this forum for leatherette interiors. There are a few shots in the customer rides section of novasuede/leather: here

Interia trimming!! Hey buddy welcome to the forum, and the world of Zedding . interia's well there is lots of things you can do you can recover the whole interia in leather or nearly any other different different materials. Its up to you. anyway all I have done is take all my panels out of my car and got that yukky grey tweed taken off and replaced the tweed with a nice bright red felt matched that with 2 very nice Sparco seats which are the same colour, and my whole interia looks awwssoommee. But I didnt stop there I also got the dash trim kit from STREET to STRIP, which is 1 of the businesses on the forum, and my interia is just getting better and better. to finish off I got some MOMO accesaries and nice red leather on the gear boot and the hand brake boot. I got most of my trimming done by a professinal trimmer in Hobart who is an old friend. so thats my story. I will upload some pics when My computer starts working. cheers Zedipated:zlove:
no i had to sand then prime because the oils from the wood grain seeped through the first time when i painted it white...i didnt prime it enough and it also started to bubble...not this time though...it came out smooth as
nar i prepared it before hand, sanding and lots of priming..then got a custom blood orange colour made up...put that on and then put 4 or so layers of gloss on and the gear stick...it was on the car when i got it...apparently they are about $300 or soemthing unless i heard wrong...
mine seats done with covers from maxfromaus, all black w/ red stitching, still need to redo a couple areas as they're bunching up a little but overall happy with result. tweed replaced with a golden tan velour by myself, again a couple areas need a little attention (bloody doors...) but overall pretty happy. cheers, tim
