you sure you used the right connector?

its comes with many adapter, pick the 31mm one, which should be the same size as your current bulb,

if there is no such connector let me know

yes I used the right connector

I used the smallest one in the packet and it's about 6mm longer than the one in the car.

I put one in the boot of the convertible. It has a T10 bulb that gets knocked out every time you put something big in the boot. The T10 power connector does not stick out and I covered it with some tape. I put the light panel in a small recess where it is fully protected, so hopefully it will stay in place.

Anybody know if the 2seater Targa has a switch on the boot lid ? If not, where is the switch on the 2+2 ?

2+2 boot switch is mounted on one of the hatch struts.

    hmmm
You must have a gadget that I don't have Benny.
    This is not allowed :p
Mine arrived today. On fitting, I reckon the 12 LED version will fit in the cabin lamp, but not the cargo area lamp

    Bulb size

The packet shows three sizes of spade
    38mm 31mm and 28mm
measuring the ones in the packet (only two supplied) I get
    41mm and 34mm
measuring the stock one I get
    31mm
Looks like the only one I need is missing.

Ha, mixed up with my RX7

The 'ol faithful RX7 had the struts with the pressure switch built in to them for the light.

Yeah, Zed boot interior light switch is built in with the hatch latch mechanism.

... and yep I agree Greggy. I only bought the 1 x 6 led panel for the interior light and there's stacks more room left in the light cover, so i'm going to use that one for the boot light now - and buy another 1 x 12 led panel for the main interior light as i think it will fit.

btw, the 31mm festoon fitting is in fact 1 size larger than the stock bulb, but it can still easily be fitted if you gently bend the 2 contacts out slightly for a nice firm fit. :zlove:

Mine doesn't bend out that easily, I think trying to bend it is whu it now doen't work properly. You mean use the 34mm ish one? Why does the packet state there is a 31mm one if it's not supplied?

    Haha,

I blew 2 fuses fitting mine. Now I know I must have been using one that was a bit too big, but I got it in, and in the dark too
