Interesting Z rear window mod.

not sure i like it. each to their own and the owner must dig it or it wouldn't have been done!

 

It's just a tub that replaces the rear glass.

Ah right so it actually sits in the section where the glass would be...rather than being a replacement hatch?

Pretty sure you get it as a complete hatch, usually in f/glass...

 

look at the link man, it's a tub for the glass only.

 

The question is would it still look any good with standard tail lights ???
would think it would be a bit lighter than the standard hatch glass ?

I like it but dont know if I would have one.

 

Don't like it myself, looks too 'ute' like. Also, video much more bearable on mute, unless you're a white guy who thinks he's down with the brothaz & totally gangsta.....

The camo zed ute i see around a lot near thomastown where i work...it looks really crap when you see it in person...its something different idea but so not good looking...

 

With rear glass like that you would kind of be expecting a mid mount engine and from certain angles it looks like some ones thrown a rock through the original glass.
I had heard about that ute and thought interesting but now that ive seen it

 

Yeh, I see it abit too. Not the prettiest Z out there, looks very rough.
