So I have finally got around to bolting some turbo's to the engine. I have the oil lines sorted on the drivers side but the Z1 oil lines are useless on the passenger side.

I was going to get an oil line made to suit but it looks to me like there is a restrictor in the mounting block where the oil pressure sensor screws into. So can I can just use the stock steel line, does anyone with experience have any comments on doing this?

stock oil feed on the left and the turbo restrictor on the right.

I'm pretty sure my Braided lines from Z1 came with restrictors..

I just relo'd the Oil pressure sensor to where the USDM sensor is on the filter tree as the new braided line went straight from that port on passenger side of the block to the turbo

Eric why ya gotta do everything the professional way :p:D [TIS]

If you want to keep the stock Oil pressure sender location you will need to do as Eric suggested.

    or

Use supplied braided line with restrictor on turbo, and move oil sender to USDM spot on filter tree :br:

So do you think that restrictor is to big for the BB turbo? (the one you drill out). The stock steel line fits perfect. Or does the restrictor need to be just before the turbo?

Don't want to move the pressure sensor. Don't mind getting lines modded etc.

I ended up doing as you suggested Eric. I drilled the block out to 4mm and Enzed made me a new Teflon braided hose using the stock fitting so no tapping required.

The BB turbos come with the appropriate sized orifice in the centre housing anyway :)
When I fitted the GT2560Rs to my car six years ago I just used the stock oil lines, I've never had any problems.
Alternatively I machine the stock oil pressure sender block and fit a banjo bolt and fitting with a short hose.
