Just a quick one, I am chucking on a set of GTR brembos tomorrow. Can I use the stock lines?? I might have some braided floating around but cant find them. If worst comes to worst what are my optins? Cheers C
You have to trim/bend the dust shields. The flexible lines stay in the same place. You have to carefully (very!!) bend the hardlines to suit the brembo's. If you do it wrong they will snap. Brake shop can make you a new line with your old ends very cheaply.
See my build thread You may not even need to bend the dust shields it will depend when you get in to work on them. As for the lines yes you can reuse them and they will be very very close to lining up, just may need a careful pull back to align or push forward in some cases.
