For the installation of the rear wing we recommend using Sikaflex or similar products, since this kind of silicon is very strong and it lets you play with the wing to get the best fitment before it dries. Bolts are not needed for installation. Installation process: 1. Use tape on the border of the attaching section of the spoiler to protect this area before sanding. 2. Sand the attaching section. 3. Remove the tape and clean the residues with thinner or alcohol. 4. Clean the area on the hatch where the spoiler will be attached with a degreasing agent. 5. Test fit the spoiler and once you set it on the right position, use a marker to delimitate the perimeter of the spoiler on the hatch. 6. Apply Sikafkex on the attaching section of the spoiler. 7. Locate the spoiler just a few millimeters behind the line marked on "step 5", then drag it to the line's direction making sure the fitment is perfect as when it was tested in "step 5" and constantly pressing the spoiler against the hatch until the spoiler seats completely. * Excuse us about the dirty clothes on the worker guy. 8. Clean the Sikaflex excess off the hatch. 9. Once the spoiler is attached perfectly, use a tape to keep it on position for a couple of hours until the silicon dries. 10. Install the LED light using 4 screws and make the electrical connection. RESULT PICS:
Thanks for the guide ! but if there is not enough to get sold here. what use to us is it? And how are the talks going with the Aussie distributor? Are we any closer to getting them? Sorry ment to put this with the bolt on diffuser
We are going to keep working with UAS. We have talked with John and he's planning to get some units to have in stock, so we are confident that the pre-orders and the extra units are going to get us to the minimal quantities we are shooting for. We hope more people support this pre-order by getting in right now instead of waiting for the products to be in stock and at a higher price.
If I were you, I would be making enquiries to the Australian Distributor(any discussions or arrangements between the manufacturers and their Agents are strictly private, and none of our business).
Thanks for the instructions TwinZ For those of you about to post aout the supply issues, this is not the time or the place to do so. TwinZ are aware of your greivances, and are trying to help us out with these fitting guides and so on.
Getting this rear wing installed soon and wondering do I need the the black strip that's normally under the oem wing? It looks like there's room for it just want to make sure as I'm getting the factory decals that stick on that strip. Or is it better to do without the black strip paint that area and stick nissan decals straight on?
