I just took a damaged injector out of my fuel rail and was just about to replace it with another from my spare engine when I noticed the part numbers were different although identical colours and plug type. Original part number: 1m50 0y14n 2 New part number: 1m50 9x13d 1 Are these the same apart from part numbers? Just different years?
You sure those are Nissan part numbers? I don't remember seeing Nissan OEM parts listed with a letter within the first 5 numbers. Parts list: http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/el_...d_engine_control/fuel_strainer_and_fuel_hose/
Not necessarily part numbers though, could be batch codes which would explain the difference. Do you know what year model engines you have? and are they both TT/NA?
That's a very good point also Fists. Both are TT engines but unsure of the years as neither were original in the Z they came from. Defo early lower plenums though. Is there a colour difference on NA injectors?
If they are both tt engines, and both early lower plenums, they will be the same. Silly question, do the injectors LOOK the same? Same connectors?
Thanks, yeah they look exactly the same including colour it was just the codes on top that sent alarm bells ringing as I don't want problems or to be doing the dremel method or pulling the plenum when it's so much easier to swap an injector out of the engine. NA injectors aren't brown anyway so that ruled that out. Thanks for all the help guys
