Expect to pay around $4k for a complete custom trim. Not cheap but cheaper than importing a car you can't drive and a much better result.

half if you byo and diy

You can do it yourself with full coloured leather / two toned / embossed/ double stitched / pinhole and memory / hard foam padding options etc. for half that, if you know what your doing.

You can also renew those old seats into plush seats at the same time with 2-3cm extra high grade memory foam on top/back and 0-5cm in areas of extra hard foam on the sides - it keeps you deeper in a plush seat but holds you firm around the corners - see my garage pic for the more plush and padded and much more comfortable seat look -lol) The foam costs about $200 - $250 extra as its clark rubbers best high grade memory foam, but you would still come in well under $2,000 all up (You can only get about 1cm-1.5cm of memory foam in the back seats without any difficulty)

Leather does give your car a nice smell as well! :D

Khalid gives a great quality leather deal for aus300zx lovers and is worth getting a quote from if anyone does it. (highly recommend) ;)

Don't forget - always specify an extra 2cm of overlap when ordering any vinyl or leather for your car as it is the difference between a good hold - the only exception to that is the targa roof trims - you can't use more than an extra 1cm of overlap due to space.

You also get the perfect combination of colours and trim of your choice!

biggest problem with the whole importing form the USA is that you specifically want the interior, and basicly none of the trim pieces will work for you.

door-trims have the holes on the wrong side for the window swithch controls and passenger grab handle.

dash, and all the under dash panels and glovebox are opposite.

the passengers seat which will become your new drivers seat will not have height adjust.

this is just a few of the issues that start to come up when you start getting into it - in short, itll be a pain the arse to us a us car for its interior.

If you want to import a Z32, the 2000 TT model from Japan would be the pick of the bunch.
