    Hi everyone

Ok we (Bone and 2 other mates) did a engine and gearbox swap from a 2+2 to the 2+0. The 2+2 was running fine plenty of power so i know it didnt have any problems prior to the swap. Since we have swapped the engine and gearbox to the 2+0 i have between no movement and 5kms when i accelerate. I've checked all the fluids and all are to the max on the dip stick. Any ideas what the problem could be? Is there anything else i should be looking at?

    Thanks everyone

I suspect automatic, so if it is, have you checked that the bolts for connecting the flex plate to the torque converter are in place?

yea man sounds like the converter is not bolted up. did yous leave the motor and box bolted up for the install or were they pulled apart

Yeah its an auto and we kept the engine and gearbox together. Could it still be the flex plate? we didnt touch it tho

How the hell did you do that - I have lifted the whole front of my Z off the ground trying to get the engine out with the gearbox still attached!
