Arent we all! LMAO. 'Stuff' was in reference to the zeds haha. But yeah, what i was getting at, being leather is the favored choice. Use my spare tweeds and get them redone in leather. That way you're not driving around with your ass on the ground. Then swap them over once upholstered. Just a thought though. Should be a good BBQ arrangement having spare zed seats to sit on, once i get my house built.
Oooohhhhhhhh...derrrr :stupid: Not to worry, have had a chat with Baz at AZC and hopefully he has a set I can park my ass on in the interim! The pattern on URHYNS seats is different to the leather on mine. Is it a custom jobbie or did the seats change later on in the piece?
lol i was looking about at the recaro's i dont mind them, just need to chase somewhere round my area that would be selling them, cause all ive seen round here are fixed back... need the recliner function cause its a 2+2 mind you i don't have money to splash just yet

Naw, dont be mean... I think his are leather trimmed from tweed originals? As all the tweeds i see have that look about them, where as you mention the leathers have a one piece base. I like the tween retrims, longevity may be better, as the base material doesnt stretch so much. Have a look at Renzeds interior, thats done with the make belief leather and looks pretty good. Pick a nice colour so it doesnt look fake.
hey, any one able to comment, is removing the rear seats, and having a fixed back seat in a 2+2 illegal?
gotta have an engineers cert. as far as i'm aware changing the registration of the car to a 2 seater, can't just take them out as you please IMO if you want to make a 2+2 a 2 seater then buy a 2 seater, they're just so much sexier

fixed back in 2+2 is illegal because in case of an accident rear passengers can't escape quickly. you can remove the back seats + seatbelts and register the car as a 2 seater. very simple, just go tell vicroads and it's done. it's a bigger hassle if you ever decide to re-register it as a 4 seater since seatbelts etc will need to be re-verified by an engineer because it's a safety item.
if were cheap enough i would have, but i just got me engine, muwahaha. yeah i knew that mikey from one of your previous post, hence i asked what if i removed rears. ok, ima call them tomorrow (well today) and confirm this. want the zed as a 2 seater so i can run fixed seats.. in the works of getting an engineers cert (not that its even liable) for my half roll cage.
