it's a little more for premium, but Brisbane rules for fuel prices. If you have a Woolworths voucher you can get a further 4 cents or 6 cents off that price.

That's so cheap---->

I could almost afford to never switch my Z off and not have to worry about not starting when cold in the morning! :p

You're not serious about using that fuel...

are you (woolworths)? I'm sure you're just stating how low they are but just to clarify.89 cents in western sydney the past couple of weeks is good enough for me...hell of a lot better than 106.9

You put that ethanol ridden fuel...

...in your Zed and wonder why you get pinging at 15 degrees of timing? :)

It's pick on banana-benders time >>>

If the Qld government taxed petrol like the same as the other states, then they might be able to use the generated funds to:
- put some more overtaking lanes on the Newell/Cunningham highways.
- perhaps make Cunninghams Gap 2 lanes each way.
- improve their freeway road surfaces.
- put up more, better signage so that RZM doesn't get confused and lead Wykked onto the wrong road to Queensland Raceway (awwww OK I'll give you that one, it was my bad, early in the morning :-0).The freeways to the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast are very nice and all, but the main highways into Brisbane from Melbourne could do with a bit of improvement, and it takes tax $$$ to pay for it.Not picking on you Jason, just some observations made during the trip.

I fully agree....>>

It might also cut down on the number of tolls needed to navigate around. I f**king hate toll roads, doesn't the government get enough from us with all of the other direct and indirect taxes?

But in reality >>>

That extra revenue would most likely go somewhere else >>> like the Politicians' favourite projects (including their back pocket)... I am very cynical about Gov't spending on roads etc...:( :|

98RON was 118 here, a full 18.5c above

normal 94RON. This is absolutely ridiculous, so I complained to the management about it being a total rip off. The mention of bringing in the local MP was thrown in there too and what do you know, it dropped a full 10c overnight!!! And fuel companies say they aren't ripping us off?!? Being the sole seller of Ultimate in town makes them think that they can charge a premium, even tho other BP's are screaming out (and have been for over a year) to get it in there tanks.

Queensland has the worst roads I've

ever travelled on. Canberra has perfect roads surprise, surprise. I'm sure half the missing persons reported are lost down some of those queensland road potholes.

I've always wondered that...

because surely they must be tested on a regular basis to make sure they actually give you the right amount of fuel...but I've never seen anything about how often it must be done. Again, we'd need to be extra sure that the container we are using is precisely the size it says (not saying that your 5ltr can was 6.5ltr - as that's a hell of a difference) but you know what I mean

Govt Weights and Measures can drop in >>>

and ask to do calibration checks - fines would be large for meters not reading correctly. One would hope thet they drop in unannounced as opposed to the audits done on Pan Pharmaceuticals ... can just imagine it otherwise ...
W&M: "G'day, Weights & Measures here, we'll be round next Tuesday to check your pumps."
Servo: "No worries mate, seeya then."
Servo: "Hey Johnno, you'll have to back the pumps off 10% next Monday, they're inspecting the pumps on Tuesday."
Johhno: "OK boss, shall I jack the price up 10ยข to make up for what we lose?"
Servo: "Yeah, good idea Johnno, and get half a tank of toluene pumped in too, will ya?"Me = cynical? Ya gotta be kidding =) :| =) :| ;)

Where in Brissy are you?

That is damn cheap fuel. The only place i've seen it get that low is Albany Creek on the Northside.:)I'm dreading driving to Thredbo later this year. Fuel prices over the boarder are so high!Still, looking foward to the quality of the roads. :)

63.9 the last couple of days near me! Shell

Optimax is of course 9 cents more than that. I never get the stuff since my car pings with it.
With a Woolworths voucher you can get regular unleaded for 60 cents. 5 cents more for premium.I still don't understand why more people don't move to Brisbane!
