I didnt know they could be pushed that far, the research i did at the time indicated that 75 to 80 was max, after that the increased pressure didnt do much.

I had thought that too about the plenum design but then wet shot nitrous systems have been commonly used in that location

    seconded.
I don't think you're helping your case very much without results on a Z.

We make turbos for variety of cars. Just relax and enjoy the footage.

Yes no need to get picky.

But on the injector issue, when i got mine tested they said something about flowing max at 80 or so psi.

    I cant really remember.
I didnt really take in what he was saying.

We've had few very busy weeks, Building customers orders, working on our R33 project and preparing for Vic drift 09 finals. That was a fuken tuff competition with top local and international drivers. I'll upload some footages later on for any one's interested.

Back on the Z I've got my 550cc injectors in from US. will be installing them in the next week or two and hopefully sitting over 300rwkws.

Also got set of Ennki 18inch rims.

Rebuilding my R33 engine at moment. The Z is daily driver. Once that is finished I will get back on the Z.

Got those rims from HK for $800 with tyres lol. shared a container with a friend. So costed me about $1200 all up.

Was waiting on these turbo's with zed results for ages, but waited to long so got myself another turbo kit, I think ya personally losing out on customers with the length of time you've taking and lack of zed content with these turbo's. Barely anyone cares how well these go on other cars but a 300zx to be truthful.

exactly, nobody cares if they work great on a silvia or a skyline or whatever, all these complications have turned people away in droves IMO

  14. I pulled 263rwkw at 16.5psi with these turbos on 95ron fuel. Have since tightend up actuators to get up to 20psi and will re-tune on 98ron to see how they go. Will post results when I get them. Spool up was only about 800rpm higher than factory. This is the best feedback I can offer at the moment. Benny_C also has a set of these on his car and seems impressed.....I am interested to see how his go.

    Cheers

Sorry that it has been taken so long. Just to us the skyline community has lot higher demand in turbochargers and high flow services. This is a new area that we've been engineering none-Garrett patterned turbos to suit OEM setups.

The T25 / T28 patterned turbos we've spent a whole year in and by came in to aus300ZX forum we already have a very mature turbo product that has been through hundreds of test runs on CA and SR engines. So they will work, there is really nothing new to it apart from some custom flanges and adaptors.

Plus after been billed by Zshop at unexpected sum of $6000 in electrical with some mechanical, steering and drive shaft work. We've certainly blew our budget on this Z project. So at this stage we need to bring in some revenue generated by other turbo project then continue on at a later stage. and hopefully every one who bought ATR25s would have some valuable dyno data by then.

    Benny_C About as subtle as...

I (like Jason Price) am impressed so far with these turbos. Due to the wastegate actuators not being set correctly before installation, i'm limited at 15psi but it still hits hard when boost comes on. Over the next week i'll be getting these fixed and set correctly then i'll get some dyno figures asap and will post up.

How did you not set the correctly is there a trick to it or something ?
I thought u just add pressure to the waste gates then set them to what ever you want to be the lowest limit  or is there something im missing

    Thanks :)

    Which ones?

Im getting confused there is the ATR25 and ATR28 am i right? Were the early hypergear turbos that benny and jason run the ATR25? Can you explain the 280 vs 300 vs 320 as you call them? ie what CHRA is in them, are they high flowed, what PSI can they go to? Im keen to get somethese very soon (It the last major item on my rebuild shopping list) can hypergear spell out in plain concise english all the turbos (or remanufactured OEM turbo) options they have for Zeds and their specs.

At this stage all ATR25 has been made in 320HP profile with either GT2860RS BB or idential spec sleeve bearing CHRAs. Those are made into stock .63 turbine and .45 Comps.

We can also build them with .64 rear turbine and .60 A/R Comp with GT2871RS 52T BB or idential spec sleeve bearing CHRAs.

GT3071/76 CHRAs in custom .64 turbine and .60 comp is also available. which you probably get some driving ability off them on 5th gear. So no one's bought them so far.
