Thought I'd share a useful resource and an idea while I'm at it: http://www.300zxclub.com/forumdisplay.php?f=79 Gotta signup, but its quick and worth the time... They also use the same forum setup as we do! Have we thought about making a 'How To' style forum page where we can put all of our little weekend efforts into? I for one will be installing a FMIC in a couple of weekends time and would like to put up (possibly another) step-by step-guide to for all those considering hacking up their reobar etc... I have searched to the ends of the earth and found a heap of useful photos for the FMIC install including Artin's... (Feeling confident now...Pretty sure I dont need to remove the rear bumper and all 4 tyres to put my FMIC in:biggrin: )... But no real 'guides' to the process. I know we have the tech section, but this more informal style seems to mean more of the posts aren't lost in the ether of the worldwide intrawebo...
If more members took the time to do tech write up instead of just posting their efforts the tech section would be a whole lot better. In the early days we turned everything we did into a tech article, usually because we were breaking ground for those who followed.
Very true. I'll make an effort to write my install up properly with some A+ photography so we can hopefully have it in the tech section and remove the need for the never-ending question of "Help! My FMIC pipes dont line up!". Cheers, Dan.
Check out TT.net's auto-FAQ. If someone puts up a good post it gets added to it and they have some great efforts there. http://twinturbo.net/net/viewforum.aspx?forum=technical&view_faq=1&threads_only=1
