if att auto produces 280HP and a man 300HP, how visually can you tell the differences between them? has any on go a reister of chassis and eng. No. by year of manufacture? cheers:thumbsup:
Your Q a little vague Are you trying to determine whether an AUTO has been converted to a MANUAL? This may be confirmed by reference to the chassis no (on rad support alum. plaque) which will contain an 'A' in the no eg. ----Z32JASHE7, if originally an Auto.
Also autos came out of the factory with three connectors beside the relay box behind the LHS headlight and manuals had two connectors.
if i know it was an auto, changed over in japan to a man. but im just wondering if the eng is a man 300hp or an auto 280hp? where abouts is the eng id located on the eng? cheers:thumbsup:
Re: try and type the whole word out in your sentences. can barely understand what your trying to say ? i dont think there were power differences between manual and auto 300zx models? (someone correct me if wrong?)
Manual and auto were different Apparently from all the literature I can find. Slightly different turbos, camshafts, ECU mapping and numerous other tweaks. Manual suspension has different geometry. The manual factory puts out 20 more HP than the auto, but over a standing quarter they are quite close.
