no he says 'oem' because he says it feels oem. It feels like it was meant to come with that engine, and others have said his conversion looks stock.

    in a nutshell...

mate if your serious about only spending about 1k... rip off the std air box and do a POD... anywhere from 20 to 100 depending on brand...

... now if u know its serviced and running ok...

800 will get you a 75 wet/dry kit of NOS... that 800 WILL out perform any other form of MOD u can do for an NA... chips / tunes / exhaust do next to nothing...

Wack that NOS on but do it discretly such that the cops wont see.. ie black pipes and fittings... hide the bottle..

.. yr NA will go from 120 to 180kw at the wheels in NO TIME...

something else you can do for free to go well with your NoS is to remove all the 1" restrictors in the std exhaust...

but yeah one word.. NOS :D:D

Once your happy with NOS and that power level... you might need some new suspension componants... ahh it just never ends... another grand there just on bushes, shocks and springs.... (installing yourself)

What annoys me is while NOS isn't allowed in QLD there's a NOS fitting and refill shop not far from my house :mad:

Why isn't it legal anyway? its just supercharging the car......

It encourages hooning I suppose, you only use it under full throttle and it's too easy for idots to get it and start playing.

Suppose but what if they had laws like they do with turbo cars??

Would the stock ecu/injectors/pump keep up with a 75hp shot of NOS?

With a bit of fiddling and a proper wet shot kit it will. There's a couple of NA's getting around with it. Really needs 2deg or so taken out of the timing when it's going though.

am i missing something.. what do na/'s have that tt's dont? oh wait thats right it's the other way around.. POWER.

why does your n/a 300zx handle better than a tt 300zx? cause its a tiny bit lighter? even if that equaled 1 car length per corner, theres enough straights in the dandenongs to leave you behind for over 1km.

Yep, nothing like a nice downhill twisty run with a NA with sorted suspension and brakes, I've still got the local record :p As soon as you get a decent up hill bit or long straights then the old NA has a bit of trouble keeping up.

ummmmm if the argument is that on twisties there is no time for a TT to hit boost... then wouldnt a non boosting TT be equal to an NA?\

and when it comes to down hill... wouldnt it be more on the driver then the car? IE TT zed, NA zed with the same suspension brake set up and shit

Instant throttle response, short diff for shooting out of corners, the driver does play a big part though.
