According to thezregistry, 22 out of the 2539 US slicktops were auto. All those 22 had cloth seats and only 2 had climate control.

I hava 94 NA Slicktop with ALL features - Electric drivers and passenger seats, velour interior, climate control etc... Didn't realise they were this rare tho... i just plain prefered the look of them...
sorry to say guys, but i reckon the targa is a very dated look *(runs away and hides before being flamed!)*

Main reason slicktops are rare is because no one wanted em..

    3 hey?
    Pics please . . . .

On another note, if the US made 2500 or so, all NA. I wonder just what the number is for the JapSpec.

As is obvious its the JapSpec Zeds that apply to us Slickster owners. They were available with all of the Options available to Targa Zeds and it was lighter AND made to meet race specs to enter the events I mentioned earlier.

I would love to find the actual Jap production numbers.
Yea, a Targa is Japs try hard Trans Am. The Slickster has a more "cockpit" soft of look with the roof looking like it slopes off quicker (even though me and Bry measured it and it doesnt, its just an optical illusion).

Mine is a '93 slicktop NA manual with most options.

    Peace :)

You obviously haven't felt the warmth of the sun through the glass tops on a cold winters day, or experienced a highway run with the roof off and windows up on a summers night, or a sudden down door with the roof off and you left them at home cause it was a beautiful day, lol that blows. :D

The slicktop does look nice, but cars are for driving first and looking at second. Although if you wanted to oil your car up and squirm all over it in the privacy of your garage the slicktop would be better.
