Hey All, Was thinking about buying this; http://www.zcentre.co.uk/shop/produ...d=367&osCsid=247a1e91b51220968fb6026e9777bf31 and noticed that it says "Fuel Filter/Cruise Unit and Wiring Looms may need to be repositioned/Relocated" - question is, how hard will this be? Also will having this cover in their cause any issues with heat and the engine bay???? Thanks!!!!!
group buy??? im in depending price is over the top... id personally cut some vents in it though on each side above the turbos for heatttt.... fuel filter easy to relocate just some more fuel line really and put it somewhere else. cruise control unit not actually sure about this one, the ud have to relocate it somewhere close though as the cable still needs to go to the throttle linkage, looks doable easily though.... any prices???
I reckon it looks like arse. I like the idea, I think the 350z has a similar type of setup, it's just that the execution looks.. I dunno, so cheap and crappy? If someone did this right I think it would look great. -Kirill
what would you do differently to this? apart from vents for heat... talking about shape as u havnt liked...
Get the back plus sides and I will go you half's That any forum member can have a chance to have them.
i could easily make the sides from thin ass stainless. then put it with the rear piece and make a full 1 piece out of fibreglass easy.
The correct airflow path is through the radiator, around and over the top of the block and down the firewall and out. That looks like a VG30 sauna box to me. Suitable for show cars/cold climate cars only I suspect. Maybe the Victorians could make use of them
potential group buy? Sweet - its 90 pounds which is about $200. I am trying to organise a better price with them and i'll let you all know whats happening. post up a price once confirmed.... i've enquired about side covers from them also...
Sorry to put these question to you mate, but seeing that you have been in contact with them did you (1) raised the issue of probable extra engine bay heat & (2) mention whether these come with the fittings as well, & if so are the visible securing lugs/screws chromed/anodised/stainless?. As I'm very interested in this also. Gonzo: Maybe if/when you get hold of this setup you could,if possible, modify it so you don't have to move or relocate anything! Cheers Grahame
Hi Grahame, As discussed above - it will play with the natural flow of air, but as for causing issues, i have no idea... i'm still waiting on a response.... will post up as soon as i hear anything! Have a read of the website, has details of what it comes with on there... everything needed to fit it... will post up info as it becomes available...
lol and seeing the Z centre in europe are selling it, i highly doubt they even have left hand vehicles LOL ..
