i hope i get the same results as you, my car was supposed to have the service done yesterday over the weekend but got cancelled so hopefully next week. i got tht goodies right here waiting lol, including my third brake light for a brazillian in the next 2 weeks!

It should feel the same unless you change to UD pulley or something. Changing cam belt, waterpump, hoses, seals and thermostat doesnt make the engine any stronger.
Re: placebo unless gus wasn't informed of other extras they have found that may have been limitting the engine, then i would agree with you.
Piece off mind is what you should feel. knowing the T/belt is new good feel, knowing the water pump is actually pumping water, good feel, no more squeeky idlers, but no more hp, sadly.
yeah, i know there's no more hp... i'm just saying how much smoother ride it is, idles better, the radiator was aparently 40% blocked, now fixed.... etc. just little things, and as you said, piece of mind. it puurrrs.
