Today was an all-time sucky day...great weather, zed cruise happening, and I was stuck visiting the mother-in-law, and then got the additional surprise of her coming back to our place to stay for a couple of days. Fate...do you feel like a quick trip down south???
our sympathies are with you col ...!!!!! but then, just remember .. >>>> ".. if everything is going your way, you're in the wrong lane ..!!" .. alternatively, you could pose her a couple of interesting questions, just to keep the house on it's toes ... something like .. " how much deeper would the ocean be without sponges..??" or " what happens if you get scared half to death twice..??":wacko::wacko::wacko: black baz: i used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out ..!!!
Great weather and Crazy motorbike riders. Strange they dont realize that when they are cranked over on the apex, their head and shoulders are a foot and a half inside our lane. We'll decapitate one of em one of these days. Donna Buang had snow too! We got stuck behind a wagon with a couple of stooges in it on the way up to the summit. We were going that slow a bird crapped on the car and it didnt streak
The Weather was amazing and the road Reefton to Marysville was the best fun. Thru the twisty bits left the Z in third and this poor little bike couldn't get past, on boost all the way until we got stuck behind a Harley :zlove: . Lunch in Marysville at the pub had Trout and just one light beer. Doug took photo's so hvae to wait to see if he posts
Thanks for a great day, Mick Wasn't the biggest cruise I've been on (only four Zeds), but this meant everyone was involved in all of the events/occurences and conversations. I'll post some pics tomorrow morning when I get home from work.
Pics and smart-arse comments Initial meeting point Mick and Paul (Resident Lurker) contemplate the lack of Zeds Micks Bling new wheels And he found where to get Nexens in Vic We Met up with Cletus in Lilydale, then set off for the snow The approach to Donna Buang looked promising Sir Edmund Hillary would have been embarassed The summit! Everest it is not! What do you do at the top of a mountain? Try to go even higher! Mick at the top Too many steps for this old fart! Mick, shoe-skiing He tried to start a snow fight but we ran out of snow! Some of the signs seemed a little inappropriate We found the main ski run After the fun in the snow, it was time for the mini-convoy to head for McMahons Creek and the run to Cumberland junction You interstaters would love this bit of road. But I was too busy to take any pics. Even me, in my lil' ol' NA got held up by that damn Harley. Truth be known, he was carrying a pillion pax, and being sensible, which was more than could be said for the other bikers we saw. Sheet, they're scary! Then it was on to Marysville, and a beaut Pub-lunch. And then home. Whatever the snow conditions, we had some fun
