YEAH crap job of modeling, I put down to the complex lines of beauty that were difficult to copy on a small scale.
They got the right idea I dare say they seem to have the right idea to the decals on the car which looks like burning cash! (ie Z burns up all our moola!)
Hmmm maybe they were working in different areas Hmmm maybe they were working in different areas, the guys at matchbox seem to have got it right. But the 300 from dinpot, below, is very nice. Even chromed the engine bay. Mind you the GTR done by them has fully sik laid back seats, and cheese cutter wheels.
The Dinpot even has the right wheels, but a little bit of a wide body going on. The Matchbox has the 300ZX door sticker which is cool. Which one (car) do you prefer to play with Dave ?
and I've not found a single model (1/24 scale and above) with removable targa's... OR with the seatbelt upright attached to the doors. I've thought about taking a hacksaw to mine lol but i'd make a hash of it. Might to it to a plastic kit one day, but i like metal models more
There's a 1/12 scale, maybe that's the one Erica is thinking of. I have a few 1/24 scale Z32's and none were over $40. Haven't checked the seatbelts, will do tonight.
