HKS turbos and BOVS old skool

    I was going to fit this gear to the car but have gone a different route gathering dust now.
    HKS Turbos are Bush bearing T25G size with very little play and no damage.
    HKS blow off valves
    HKS hardpipes with silicon joiners
    5 bolt split dumps (not n-power)
    $700 the lot
    no i wont split them up :p

    are these the 2530 (or whatever it is... forgot now) hks if so , dibs it... postage to 4064?

    Once you let me know the freightage ill DD you the funds.

    Just to clarify
    These are not HKS 2530's there smaller thats why they are cheaper:)
    I will post up the specs shortly when i find them, i know they have a T28 spec Turbine wheel and a small housing for fast spool.
    Edit:
    Turbine: 53mm-62trim / 49 AR
    Comp: 54.3mm-60trim 6 4AR?
    pretty much the same as a GT2554

    what sort of power output would these do? how much lag... do you have any figures?

    Turbos appear to be 2510's, def not the 2530's. If it was they would be going for $3.5k :p

    I've got the 2510's on my zed, not laggy at all and make ok power. More like fancy highflows. Price is excellent!!! I would be wanting a lot more than that for my 2510's when it comes time to sell!

    Cool i think Frysie lost interest once he found out there not BB HKS2530,s :p
    Heres some more info.
    I bought the turbos off Tektrader cheap as one had a mangled comp wheel from sucking something down the intake. When it was pulled apart the housing was found to be undamaged so i replaced it with i another Chra . None of these turbos including the replacement chra showed signs of oil seal failure so i was going to bolt them on and use them. But i now have a set of T28's i am going to use.
    theres a small amount off side to side shaft play which is normal? the thrust bearing wear is so small its hard to tell.

    anyway if your not happy send them back and i will refund the money.you will have to pay freight though.

    Got the BOVS and hard pipes cheap cause the where painted blue and one had a broken hose barb. Ive used these on the car and they worked fine but its auto so whats the point.

    2.5" Split dumps came with the T28's but i dont need them as i have a set of 3" expansion dumps.

    Great buy, Mikey! Let's get them bolted on ASAP! Keen to know how much power figure they'd make. Or does anyone have a figure in mind?!

    Sits in almost the same range as GT28R's?! Any noticeable difference between the two, for the people on the know-how?


    EDIT: Sorry for the thread hijack. Realised not the best way to discuss such matter. Will just do my own research...

    From what I can see they will function similar to high flows - 280rwkw range.

    And just going on a assumption here I would imagine reasonably quick spooling

    Have these sold ?
