Does anyone know if the HKS 2530 turbos from a Skyline GTR fit in the orginal turbo position in engine bay of a Zed 1990 (Z32 VG30DETT)? I'm performing some work on my z, major upgrade - HKS 2530 turbos, 272 Cams, 640cc inj, Side mnt intercoolers, forged pistons, auto to manual conversion, heads, motec. Hopefully have 500+ hp when done. I aleady have the turbos, the engine is out and it looks like I'm gonna need some new dumps, and flip the wastegate, But I'm not sure if the HKS 2530s are even going to fit in the engine bay when the engine goes back in? Has anyone done this?
zx299 is correct... Hiroyuki Hasegawa, a former Yamaha Motor Company engineer with his partner Mr Kitagawa, secured a capital infusion from Sigma Automotive Co. Ltd. Hence the name "HKS".
No No No you are all wrong It was kind of jokie. On the Skyline forum, ther guys were having a quiz over uit, and I read this answer which I think should win.:YD It read " Haaoooowwww Kar Soooooooooo Fast" Seemed more appropriate for Nissan driving nuts. Gave me a laugh so, I thought I would share with. ^D^ :-Z
from HKS's website >> H-Hasegawa, as in Hiroyuki Hasegawa.K-Kitagawa, as in Goichi Kitagawa.S- Sigma, as in Sigma Automotive Company, Ltd.Hasegawa and Kitagawa formed the company with the assistance of capital infusion from Sigma Automotive, hence the name HKSBut I reckon is stands for "Holy Krap Spiderman".
