The Hicas light has come on when cold and pulling out of drive and then going out when warm (steep drive) logic says maybee low oil reserve checked when cold and yes its blow the indicator in the hicas reservoir My question is what type of oil do I top it up with ? Had a look but must be missing it . Thanks Dave (does come on at ignition then goes out)
hi Dave, Hicas fluid comes from your power steering resovior, so it is in fact ATF. Top it up with dextron 3. Alternatively if it's your hicas light coming on that's another thing at start up is normal! But for peace of mind Hicas diagnostic in the tech section
Thanks for the info I mentioned it on start up mailny just to indicate the self check was ok going out to buy me some oils now thanks again.
