Hi Everyone

Hi All,

I first joined this group late last year while I was searching for my first 300ZX. I was just lurching in the background until now.
After six months of searching, I'm pleased to say that I have finally found My Fairlady. Her name is Zena. Man, it feels good to be a Z owner.

Anyway, just thought I'd say g'day. I've also just joined NDSOC and hope to be attending the Caribbean Gardens event on July 12th. Was wondering how many people here are also members of the club and if anyone is going to the event.

Thanks gmbrezzo. Yeah, I'm very much looking forward to a ZED cruise into the hills or maybe the great ocean road. In the short time I've had the car, I have to say my favourite kind of drive is with the roof off along the forest roads into the hills. (spectacular)

Hi John, welcome aboard the crazy Zed ride. I too am also a member of NDSOC, in fact, I'm on the committee as Club Secretary. Anyway, you'll get a lot out of both clubs. We may already have spoken (have you been to an NDSOC club meeting)? anyway, it'l be great to see you at both NDSOC and aus300zx events.

Hi Jedi, thanks for that. I don't think we've spoken before. I only just joined NDSOC last week. I have had contact with Jason, Mike and now yourself. I'm hoping to attend the next meeting in July.

 

Ahh ok...

yeah, due to work commitments, I didn't attend last weeks Club meeting. And now I'll be away overseas the next few weeks, so I won't be at the July meeting either. BUT, you should come to the NDSOC event on July 12th at Caribbean gardens. I'll be there with the NDSOC folk, and hopefully some folk from here.

Hi John, you should be getting your new NDSOC members package next week if Aussie Post behave. I won't be at the next meeting either, nor the Carribbean Gardens - I will still be in the UK. I have 2 Zeds - the red TT below which is off the road at the moment, and a blue NA convertible. Look forward to catching up in person instead of just emails!

 

Hi Mike, yeah would be great to catch up. This is all very exciting. I've been into Nissan's for many years. I've owned a couple of pulsars and a pintara. The Z was on my "one day" list. It feels great to finally have one and to be joining a Nissan Datsun club. There is something about Z cars. My older brother had a 260 when I was a teenager. That's when my love for them began I guess.

 

Sorry, forgot to answer your question. I'm in the South East. I live in Drouin and work in Berwick.
