I have some spare high pressure fuel hoses left over and i need a striaght coolant hose... now the question is, would i be able to use the fuel hose in replacement of the coolant hose?? or is that just a stupid question??

Yes, good quality EFI hose ok.

It's rated to 125deg, from memory.

Is it to go where that split hose was?

I used some on mine in the same place, so should be ok.

You'll be fine, overkill in fact as good quality (make sure it's 30R9) EFI hose is superior to heater hose
