easy mate, tell her the truth vs the myths.

zeds arnt heavy, weight the same as supras, lil more then rexies/evos, way less than mitsu gto's.

zeds dont overheat, if they are looked after properly they run great.

they are a very powerful and luxurious car. the parts on them are top of line, ie. gtr parts. possible upgrades for lesser cars even.

they got the sexiest interior ever.

parts arnt bad to come by, and you get to become part of this community:thumbsup:

you get my drift... plus theyr not that common, and just all in all, they rock.

p.s. there is a pink NA zed on carsales/carpoint. and a harlequin (changy colour) NA zed for sale at UAS.

Car is an Aust delivered model: no Z badge on centre panel and has air con instead of climate control. 118,000 kms is certainly very low for a '90 model. I have a grey '90 Aus Spec - Now done 175,000 kms and motor runs sweet. Sounds the goods but worth getting it checked out by a member if that's possible. The N/A's IMO are more reliable and cheaper to maintain than TT's.

I'm sure there's someone who's prepared to have a look.

    Cheers,

    Peter

    Re: oh ok got ya

hmm is that the best she can find? i mean its not to bad, but you can buy a stockish tt for that much (and have no trouble with it) im not recomendin a tt, she may be on her P's and unable to drive turbo. none the less, dont be afraid to look around. i was just wondering if she could get more for her money, like maybe a later model aus spec, or a older model with a kit or mags, and what not on it.

and be sure to give a very thorough inspection and test drive. listening for sounds, watchin rising temps etc.

oh i see, in the nsw area that does look like the best. if she dont mind wheres its from she cud get sum nice stuff;)

    artin ...there is no spoon

barev lav es...inch bes es aber??

(btw thats armenian for "Hey how are ya bro)

tell her not to do what i did n buy the first car she sees...shop around look at other deals.

but u just have a gut feeling when u see one and go for a test drive n stuff...sometimes luck plays a big part...i guess i was one of the lucky ones...mine was in perfect condition! - except for the hose leak i had before :p

if she takes care of it n looks after it should have no problems at all for a long time.:thumbsup:

    my 2 cents!

    cheers

Mate all you need to tell her about is the support network you get from other members here. I have been an owner for around 3 weeks now and the support and hekp i have gotten with my car is amazing. You people know who you are who have helped me out. There are not many of these types of cars that attract such a genuine group of people and a support network so strong. Thanks so much to the people who have helped me and this club is oneof the things that i have found to make this car into one of the legends it has become

    More accurate...

Negligent drivers too frugal to spend money on the maintence of an expensive luxury/sports car that approches 15+ years overheat zeds. (well a vast number of the times).

Look after your zed, and it will look after you. Ignore and abuse it, well, hell hath no fury like a zed scorn
