Hey all Just installed front coil overs into the Zed. Lowered the car and started it... COMPUTER SAYS NO!!!11!!1 It starts, then stalls straight away. or It starts, then idles badly at 300-400 rpm, then stalls after half a minute. Needs constant throttle to stay alive. Took it for a quick drive, makes just over 8 psi on EBC, yet stock boost needle is stuck hard on the left (in the -ve i think). Needs idle when stopped at lights. Also: Warning lights "Light" and "HICAS" are on and stay on. Have noticed that the "Battery" warning light is on but very very dim. I did leave the interior light on for some period but doesnt sound like its flat at all. WTF could i have hit to make this happen?! Took off 6 bolts, it seems like all hoses and connections are fitted properly... Ive disconnected the battery, going to leave it for a few hours to reset the ECU. But in the mean time... WTF!!! I ****ing love you. That WAS the cause of allllll the issues. Everything. Low idle, lights, boost etc. My mate who was helping me said... and i quote.... "If IB was here right now i would go down on him and give him a gobbie. I would in fact choke on his chicken." Many props to you sir!! Andy
i've known the whole time, was just told they had attempted to fix it at one stage but couldn't work out why it kept blowing, so i just haven't bothered
