    Hi guys,

My clutch pivot ball snapped a while back and I've finally got around to replacing it, but am having trouble getting the snapped off thread out it's hole.

I've tried drilling it so I can us Easy Outs but it's just not happening, have broken a couple of drill bits and the ones that don't snap seem a bit reluctant to make a hole.:bash:

    Anyone got any suggestions?

A couple of pics so you know what I'm talking about:

Looks like u need some drill bits that are sharp.
Hardware should have some titanium bits that would make light work of that.

P.s next time use some sort of coolant on the drillbit , i think u overheating ur bits and they lost there temper

    Titanium drill bits :whatever:

High speed steel, or cobalt if you like. Bit of lube and take it nice and slow, push hard and she'll get a bigger hole.

Oh, that sounded dodgy  :banned:
