Yep the above zed is bang on! no stupid camber/caved in rolled guards to make oversized rims fit. Also no gaps between the tyre and the guard without being mexican. Thats how my zed will sit on my gtr's when i get coilovers, maybe spacers (already have poke) Dont get me wrong rod, i <3 your car and similar styled cars. but id never own one like it
Found it: "The Z's been dropped on a set of Megan coilovers over a set of Desmond WiseSports wheels - 18x9.5 +19 in the front and 18x10.5 +29 in the rear for you wheel geeks out there."
haha no stress josh, honestly not many people will like my car, but I do so who cares. sunken wheels are for pussies. if no one ran different fitting wheels we would all drive the same looking hovercrafts and there would be no car scene to base what you do and don't like about your car on
I agree there. Sunken wheels ruin the stance. Your Z will be the ducks nuts when it's done Rod On that note, I'm having a hard time finding a definitive answer to the question whether a wider track provides any sort of 'grip' advantage, and if there is a point at which a wider tyre is not better and offers less grip. I know that the Grip Force is not just dependant on Natural Force x Kinetic Friction force, there are more variables. Anyone have any input?
lol, none of the above points will apply to Rod's wheel setup anyway, cause he'll only have about 1 inch worth of tyre tread actually touching the road due to so much camber to get those wheels to fit. Just Sayin' :br:
seen my new wheels Benny? hsha, less camber though, till my 11.5s come. not racing on these wheels, to sexy to smash so dont care about what track benefits or losses I get using these wheels and thanks al! hurry and fix that beast of an mr2 mate!
I too would love those wheels and set like that However I can and probably never will be able to afford it I could get copies but they probably weigh a ton and would defeat one of the other main points of owning such a delicious set of shoes
Ha, thanks mate, got the Apexi Power FC to fit, have to swap in a fresh big end bearing, have the cams/gears fitted and then get a tune. Shouldn't be far off, not exactly driving weather in Melbourne at the moment.
thanks Benny, will sit 4mm wider than the meisters, and have 34mm less inner clearance, they will JUST fit hahaha! I'ma going straight to hell
