Hi All Ive got a 89 2 seater tt zx and the heater stays on 10 and will not go below that,not to good on a warm day with hot air blowing on ya. Can anyone tell me how to get it to 0. Cheers Belly
If you mean with the aircon set at 10 it still blows hot then you have a problem. First thing to check is to find the sightglass for the aircon and see if it actually has any gas in it. You should be able to see the bright green gas if there is any in there. If there is gas in it then its likely to be compressor thats not working. Since you are a new Z owner I'd suggest you spend some time reading the technical section on here and twin.turbo.net as they give excellent information on how to work on and understand your car. They can be a bit daunting for the inexperienced person. But once your understand the various systems in the car and how they work and interact you will be more confident in taking on most jobs yourself
