Hey fellow zedders i have a little problem, my zs heater doesnt work all of a sudden GRRRR and to make things worse i am in tassy, so this time of year it is very cold. so i need to fix it asap so i dont freeze to death:rolleyes:. anyone got any ideas? at first i thought it was the heater matrix thingy but that was replaced a year or so ago and i am not seeing any wet carpet or smelling any coolant inside the car, so was wondering if it could be something else:confused:. can anyone help me out

Assuming you actually have coolant in the system (your Z would probably survive without it down in cold tassie :p ).... Check the operation of the heater core tap.
There is a troubleshooting guide in the factory service manual, pages HA 114-116

    Possible causes include:
Low coolant temp, air mix door fault, and incorrect sensor input.

Also possible is blockage of the heater core if you have any gunk floating around in the coolant system. This can be cleared by disconnecting the heater hoses at the rear of the engine and reverse flushing the heater core with a pressure hose. First rule out other faults as mentioned by Mitch.
