Hey, does anyone have the dimensions for the standard 300ZX heater core? I just got quoted $1200 for a Heater core for my Nissan Cedric, but the core looks almost identical to the 300ZX one. The Magna one is a bit thick for my heater box and i am not keen to customise it (if a core costs this much, imagine the cost of the entire box!!!) I did some searching and found that the magna one is also bigger than the 300zx core, so i am hoping my core will be the same as yours... I need the dimensions of the overall height, width and thickness - i believe the mounting points are the same...
Ok nevermind... Just contacted Phillip Radiators after doing some more searching on the forum. They faxed me a sheet that confirms the 300ZX one is precisely 1cm shorter than mine and the same in all other dimensions. After giving him some credit card details he is sending me a heater core for only a little bit more than a Magna core (and 1/8th the price for my Cedric core ) For anyone else that wants the dimensions, they are 150(h) x 193(w) x 25 (d) Thats the dimensions of the actual core, the top tanks are on top of that and they tend to flare out a tiny bit.
