ok guys got a tricky one for ya here, ive had my zed for a while now, lights have always been pretty crappy, anyway last week it blows a high beam globe. or thats what i thought, after pulling the whole lights apart, checking all the wiring is earthed properly, putting all new globes in (all tested repeatedly, they still all work,) wiring it all back up properly the right high beam still wont work. the left side is fine, it goes from low to high beam, and all globes are working perfectly. when i put globes in the right side, the low beam works, but wont flick to high beam, even when i know the globe works, while the left side is still fine and going from low to high beam. i tried the relays and im assuming they are fine. what could be wrong with it? Im starting to get frustrated. had the auto electrician look at it today and hes at a loss too. any help much appreciated!

Have you swapped relays around to confirm it is not the relay?
If you have checked globe, relay and fuse, it can only be an earth problem or broken wire.
Try a wire direct from relay to globe to confirm.

have tried all of the above, and no its none of those. have all new globes and new relays. have just checked them again and all working fine. I have come to the conclusion its the indicator/light switch on the steering wheel column, its not working properly so i reckon thats it. i have posted a thread in the wanted section so hopefully i can pick one up.

Have you tested with MM for power at RH fuse?

yep, tested that also. the only thing i can think of is the actual indicator/lights switch on the steering column. I have put up a wanted thread looking for one, the whole unit where it plugs into the steering column. Got one reply, ill be getting that soon. Hopefully that helps. If not it can only be that a wire has either corroded or fell off the bottom of the relay, and you cant pull it up to see, all the wires are too tight, and the bottom of the relay doesnt pull out. Im hoping its just the switch so ill see how i go when i get this one delivered.
