hey all strange request, rebuilding my engine this weekend, have all the parts needed except 2 head bolt washers that i cant find anywhere and have been told that nissan can only get them to me by tuesday next week. i was wondering if anyone has 2 lying around somewhere that i can come pick them up today i am in west pennant hills, sydney nsw and will drive anywhere in syd to get them if thats ok. please if u have them either post on here or call me on 0410 345681 thanks
you would think so ... i am awaiting a call but he told me on the phone he cant be bothered trying to find them at the moment as he is too busy and its not worth his while, so thought i would shout out to the forum... please help anyone??? and i have tried alot of places, so yeah this is the last resort
Well from a financial point of view he is probably being very honest, but from a PR/Customer Relations perspective, that sounds pretty average.
yeah i get where he is comng from pulling an engine apart for 2 washers is not a great use of his time, but yeah it kind doesnt help me.. hence y i am on here... please help anyone and thanks for the suggestion chilli, any other 300zx specialists in syd that might help me?
The Bolt Bloke ...back when I was a Rigger we used to go to an outlet called "The Bolt Bloke" I don't know if you have them where you are!! They could source any high density, hardened or specialist application washer or bolt (Including Engineering Washers) as long as you have one to show them. Most of the stuff was already in stock.
yeah sorry Chaps, nothing lying around. Nothing special about the washers, I'd assume autoone would be able to supply something suitable if you take one of the others over...
